Norway - Iceland 2-2. As crappy a performance as one could expect. At least Scotland lost to Macedonia. But as shit as we are these days that won't help us.
France lost 3-1 away to Austria. Wonder what it will take before Raymond Domenech gets sacked.

Belgium won from Estonia. Not a great game, but at least we won the opening game. It's a start...
And isn't there a player from Estonia that plays for Bodø-Glimt?

Actually there's two. Goalkeeper Pavel Londak and central defender Alo Bärengrub. Both of them played against Belgium according to fifa.com.

Poland - Slovenia 1:1
We're taking on a similar challenge today, facing San Marino away.

USA and Mexico don't really have to sweat much qualifying against the other concacaf teams.

It's nice to read that England are the World Cup winners in waiting, and that no pressure is being put on a teenager to do everything. Still, as long as he maintains the consistency that Mr Rooney has shown in an England shirt, we will obviously have nothing to worry about.

Yes, I was surprised to learn that by winning in Croatia, England have automatically won the World Cup. Who would have thought it?! Congratulations to England, 1966 and now 2008.

Finishing up at work now and getting ready to go to Glasgow to see Scotland-Norway. After losing to them on saturday and losing to Holland next wednesday I hope we can get a new manager at long last.

I think that our cunning plan worked: struggle to a home win over Liechtenstein before lulling Germany into a false sense of security and allowing them a lucky 1-0 home win. The stage is set for our 2 home games in March when we crush both Germany and Finland.

We've been absolutely dreadful in terms of quality (on our way to... somehow... picking up maximum points!).
