No we dont Morten - it's another feeble attempt to get someone popular in. Dont believe all the media crap about us thick Geordies believeing in 'messiahs' - it's all nonsense. The fans actually ran a concerted campaign to try and get Hitzfeld before Fat BalloonHeed Sam was appointed. All the guff about only a Geordie understands us is ridiculous.
We are shite and deserve to go down, and I know qute a few of us who actually want it to happen, I'm sick of the bastards.

It would be nice to see some sort of accountability taken by the players, for most to stick around and get the club the fuck out of this mire.
But this is professional football, I imagine every rat bar Nicky Butt will jump from the sinking ship.

I'd shoot the lot of them bar Nicky Butt - he's the only one to have actually put any effort in. Every bloody week we've had bollox on the papers about 'we need the fans to get behind us' , they've been backed to the hilt and the performances have been truly pathetic. Not one person I spoke to on the train back into Brum city centre thought we should have stayed up, one fo the lads I'm mates with hasnt missed a game since '82 and he just summed it up 'we're shit and deserve to go down' - something I've been getting called a doom-monger for saying since September.
I am not sorry to see the back of the PL - even Villa fans were admitting it's closed shop at the top now - Preston and Blackpool, Swansea and Cardiff here I come - all new grounds for me.

What happens to players like Owen? I guess he is on a lot of money and he can't be an easy player to get rid of either. Maybe Man City are willing to pay up for him.
Personally I think it's a shame that Phil Brown didn't get relegated. Nothing against Hull, just him.

Owen should link up with the worst coach in the J. League (Alex Miller, JEF United). There hasn't been an over-paid, over-rated Englishman in the J. League since Gary Linker. Mind you there's an over-paid, over-rated Aussie. (Eddy Bosnar, JEF United).
